Companies who are engaged in the area of Functional Safety and who have a TÜV Functional Safety Expert can also become an official course provider of the TÜV Functional Safety Program.

All training material as well as the exam (consisting of multiple choice questions and open questions) regarding one of the specified topics have to be forwarded to TÜV Rheinland in electronic or printed format.

TÜV Rheinland then reviews and assesses the correctness and completeness of this material according to the applicable international standards IEC 61508 and IEC 61511. If the training material and exam is approved, the company becomes an official course provider of the TÜV Functional Safety Program, and their TÜV FS Experts can hold the training with the approved material.

All course providers are also members of the Interest Group of the TÜV Functional Safety Program.
