Program also offers trainings referring to the topic Security Management.
This training is designed to introduce the participants to the larger
security picture as well as the specific requirements of facility
security from defining threat, vulnerability and risk to the principles
that have to be applied in the design of a security solution. Specific
hardware and software is intentionally left out of the content as it is
not the intention to focus on any particular brand or type of
equipment/software. Every attempt has been made to leave the
participants with an ability to understand security needs, appreciate
the security environment, and be able to identify the elements of an
integrated security solution from the stand point of different
industrial customers. The training uses real life examples for
illuminating the examples that are put forth.
Training Objective
The objective of this training is toincrease the knowledge within the
security community by addressing the needs of those responsible for
decisions regarding security (including those that revolve around
potential investments) as also for managers responsible for driving the
security organizations of reasonably large firms in their quest for up
to date knowledge of the security environment, concepts of threat and
risk assessment, development, design and selection of technology for a
cost effective solution and developing trengs in regulations and legal
frameworks related to security indifferent industry frameworks.
Target Group
The training is targeted at decision makers in management who have to
make investment decisions in security or are responsible for
maintaining the correct security posture as dictated by legal and
regulatory requirements as also for security managers who have to
administer security departments of a large / medium size facility and
security professionals who workd in the security domain areas.

General Information
The training is planned to be delivered over a period of 3 days. The
training would culminate in a TÜV Rheinland approved examination. All
participants who participate continuously in the training and pass the
exam successfully will be provided with a certificate from TÜV
Rheinland and will be permitted to use the "TÜV Security Professional"
logo/mark on their business card.
