Course Provider and Course Promoter |
The course providers are international companies, whose field of activity is in the functional safety business. They are either developers and manufacturers of safety related products or consultants for functional safety. The course providers of the TÜV Functional Safety Program offer their trainings worldwide
The complete training documents as well as the exam of each course provider are reviewed and assessed by TÜV Rheinland. Also the trainers are assessed and have to fulfil the requirements of a TÜV Functional Safety Expert. Therefore a close cooperation between the course providers and TÜV Rheinland exists.
The course privders of the TÜV Functional Safety Program manage the complete organisation and marketing of their trainings/courses. They are also responsible for registration, form and content as well as back-office of their trainings.
Participants should regsiter for trainings/courses directly at the course provider, who is exclusively in charge for them during the training/course. The following documents should be forwarded:
Any information concerning contents, organisation or personal details of trainings/courses should be exchanged and discussed directly and only with the course provider.

Course Promoters
Course promoters are companies or institutions involved in the functional safety business. These companies organize and promote the trainings of the TÜV Functional Safety Program worldwide in cooperation with the course providers and trainers of the program.
Course promoters provide trainings of the TÜV Functional Safety Program, with approved trainings and exam material and approved TÜV FS Experts or trainers. Participants of these trainings will receive the TÜV FS Engineer certificate if they fulfill the according requirements and pass the exam successfully.
