The complete training documents as well as the exam of each course provider are reviewed and assessed by TÜV Rheinland. Also the trainers are assessed and have to fulfil the requirements of a TÜV Functional Safety Expert. Therefore a close cooperation between the course providers and TÜV Rheinland exists.

The course privders of the TÜV Functional Safety Program manage the complete organisation and marketing of their trainings/courses. They are also responsible for registration, form and content as well as back-office of their trainings.

Participants should regsiter for trainings/courses directly at the course provider, who is exclusively in charge for them during the training/course. The following documents should be forwarded:

• written registration,
• written proof concerning eligibitlity requirements (form to be obtained from course provider)
• if necessary credit card information

Any information concerning contents, organisation or personal details of trainings/courses should be exchanged and discussed directly and only with the course provider.

Course promoter

Course promoters are companies or institutions who are also involved in the functional safety business but who are not a course provider. These companies cooperate with the course providers and trainers in order to support the worldwide offer of the TÜV Functional Safety Program.

Course promoters are not course providers or TÜV Functional Safety Experts or trainers. But they cooperate with TÜV Rheinland and the accepted course providers and keep to the regulations of the TÜV Functional Safety Program. They promote and organize the trainings of the TÜV Functional Safety Program and make sure that the quality of the training contents and the professionalism of the trainers is kept.
