The product group "programmable systems" also includes the qualification of safe bus systems or general communication systems for the transfer of safe news for open and proprietary bus systems.

The tests are performed during the product development:

  • configuration of considered transfer faults
  • definition of data safety layer
  • assessment of measures for control of transfer faults
  • assessment of measures for fault avoidance during development
  • calculation of undetected error rate
The test results into a certification, confirming that the safety layer protection complies with the worldwide accepted standards.
